At Diven House, we believe each resident should have every opportunity to be an active member of the Village. By getting to know our residents’ unique needs, we provide the appropriate level of support required for maintaining independence. Residents of Diven House are given priority access to the Health Care Center should the need arise.
When designing Diven House for assisted living, our primary goal was to make it feel like home. Stroll through the courtyard with its gazebo and you may catch a glimpse of Mother Duck and her yearly ducklings. Visit the drawing room and spend time talking with some of the residents, sit by the fireplace and enjoy the view of the rolling hills of Carroll County. Our drawing room features a full kitchen where meals are prepared for family get togethers or special celebrations.
If there is one distinguishing characteristic of Carroll Lutheran Village, it’s our emphasis on all aspects of wellness including spiritual well being. The Chaplaincy provides a weekly worship service and devotions to address the spiritual needs of residents. Residents of Diven House are no exception; they participate in daily fitness programs, including swimming, seated exercise and dance classes. In addition, we offer cooking, games, reminiscing and a wide range of trips and outings to stimulate the mind and boost the spirit.
Diven House offers private suites with floor plans to comfortably accommodate individuals and couples. Each suite includes a kitchenette, bed and full bath with safety features. Residents are able to add personal touches to the suite with favorite furnishings and keepsakes. Additional belongings, such as seasonal clothing, can be stored in a secure storage area.
