Annual Carroll Lutheran Village Golf Tournament
The 13th annual Carroll Lutheran Village golf tournament to benefit the Ministry of Caring Endowment is set for Friday, June 18, starting with registration and an expanded continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
The tournament is open to sponsors and golfers who want to support the Ministry of Caring Endowment that generates income to help defray the cost of care for residents who have outlived their financial resources. In FY 2009 alone, the Village provided $1.1 million in assistance to 266 residents.
A great day of golf is a good way to support those in need. Sponsorships at all levels, from $100 to $6,000 are available. Players in six divisions, including the Iron Ladies, will compete for prizes and contest winnings. The cost to play is $175 per player before April 30 ($190 per player after April 30), that includes golfer gift, expanded continental breakfast, lunch on the course, open bar, banquet and awards ceremony.
